The free allowance resets each Monday at 12 a.m. UTC. Paid-plan credits reset monthly and do not roll over. This guide rechecked a public monthly billing view of the official pricing page on October 10, 2026. The table records that advertised USD view, not a guaranteed offer for every account. Historical annual offers are labeled separately; check the exact billing selection, seats and renewal amount before paying.

This pricing guide uses current InVideo plan, credit, export, and model-access documentation and keeps annual commitments separate from monthly billing. It is a price reference rather than a video-quality ranking; verify the final checkout and exact workflow allowance before purchase.

Is InVideo AI free, and does it add a watermark?

Yes. InVideo’s free-plan documentation describes a limited trial without a card and a weekly reset. Verify the export and watermark conditions in your account before using it for delivery. A free editing feature is not the same as free AI generation.

Advertised monthly plans, checked October 10

Historical offers, not the current monthly table: the October 5 annual-billing view showed Starter at $20, Plus at $36 promotional and Max at $75 promotional per seat/month, with 400, 2,000 and 5,000 base credits. Another retrieval that day showed Basic at $9 with 190 credits, Pro at $18 with 1,000 and Ultra at $40 with 3,000 under annual billing. The cause of the differing views was not verified. Do not combine one view’s price, plan name or billing period with another’s credits.

Credits are not finished videos

The number of outputs depends on the model, task, settings, and attempts. A headline allowance does not translate into a fixed number of complete ads. Include narration, generated scenes, edits, and rejected attempts in your estimate.

For example, if your own trial project consumes 100 credits, a 2,000-credit allowance would cover twenty equivalent attempts before other usage. The 100-credit figure is an illustration, not an Invideo quote. Replace it with the actual cost shown for your project. How to read an annual price without misbudgeting

A price expressed “per month, billed annually” is a monthly equivalent, not necessarily a monthly payment you can stop after one month. Record the annual amount charged today and the renewal amount separately. A crossed-out number or a percentage discount does not establish that the promotion will renew.

Using the historical October 5 annual offer only as a billing illustration, a $36 per-seat monthly equivalent multiplied by 12 months is $432 for one year; two paid seats would be $864 before taxes or other adjustments. This is arithmetic, not a current purchase quote. Credits that refresh monthly should not be treated as a single annual balance available on day one.

Ask three questions before comparing tiers: are the same models and operations included, is the selected credit allocation the base allocation, and are collaborators paid seats or guests? A lower advertised dollar amount can still be the wrong plan if it omits a required operation. Conversely, a larger allowance is wasted if the team cannot use it during the reset period.

Check agent spending before it generates

InVideo’s AI Agent credit guide describes three useful controls: inspect the three-dot menu on a response for its credit charge; close the Agent and use the project’s top-right menu → Project Usage for the total; set a project credit limit. The default permission is Always allow. Choose Ask before generating videos or Always ask before generating for approval control. The approval dialog shows the proposed model, duration, aspect ratio and prompt.

For a first pilot, use approval control and write down a maximum spend before you start. Review the requested media, then approve only the generation that supports the current shot. An exploratory conversation and a final delivery pass have different purposes: keep their costs separate so repeated brainstorming does not make the production budget look cheaper than it was.

Agent modes such as Lite, Pro and Ultra are also not necessarily the names of the subscription you buy. Record both the subscription and the generation mode. This avoids comparing a low-cost draft on one platform with a premium generation on another and calling the difference a quality or value result.

A finished-shot budget: a worked example

InVideo’s public pricing comparison checked October 10, 2026 lists Seedance 2.5 at approximately 56 credits per five-second 720p clip, or 96 credits at 1080p. Suppose you generate eight candidates to obtain four accepted shots: video generation alone would total approximately 448 or 768 credits, respectively. Add image, voice, music and agent charges separately.

That is approximately 112 or 192 credits per accepted shot before other charges. Two attempts per accepted shot is a budgeting assumption, not a measured acceptance rate or output-quality test. Use your actual pre-generation quote and Project Usage log; count rejected candidates and revisions. The same public comparison excludes Seedance 2.5 from Starter, so verify model access as well as the balance before buying.

Use a representative brief, not the easiest demo. For an ecommerce ad, specify which product details must stay exact, the shot list, orientation, voice requirement and export format. Review the full output against that brief. Only then estimate how many comparable jobs fit your allowance; leave capacity for revisions rather than dividing the balance by a perfect first attempt.

Why a model-pricing range is not an exact quote

The official video model pricing reference lists ranges across supported settings. A short, lower-resolution configuration and a longer, higher-resolution one can occupy opposite ends of a range. Read the settings and pre-generation estimate together; do not take the cheapest endpoint as the cost of your desired output.

When comparing providers, hold the required duration, resolution, audio, input type and deliverable constant. Record billed units first, then cash cost under the plan you actually buy. One provider’s “credit” has no universal exchange rate with another’s. A model name shared by two apps also does not establish identical settings, permissions or export behavior.

Separate generation charges from editing and export

InVideo’s plan and credit guide distinguishes paid AI processing from manual timeline editing, and says downloads and exports use no credits. That does not make every preceding editing action free: asking an agent to create or replace media can add usage. Review the project total after substantial AI changes.

Make ordinary cuts, timing adjustments and assembly in the manual editor when that is the operation you need. Reserve generative requests for media that is missing or genuinely needs regeneration. Before delivery, inspect the actual download settings, watermark and format; an export costing zero credits is not a guarantee that a free account has the delivery conditions you need.

A purchase worksheet you can reuse

Save the plan name and date, billing interval, total due today, renewal amount, paid and guest seats, monthly credit reset, required model access, trial-project usage and accepted-output count. Add the project-limit setting and the time needed for revisions. This provides a concrete basis for deciding whether to stay free, pay monthly, or commit annually, without relying on a headline number of “videos.”

Which plan is the best starting point?

Choose the lowest tier that supports the models and features your first real project requires. Finish that project before making an annual commitment. Max is not automatically better value for every professional creator: unused capacity still costs money.

For a team, compare the number of paid seats, included collaborators, and permissions as well as generation credits. A workspace collaborator and a billable production seat may have different roles.

Upgrade or buy Extra Credits for a one-off project?

Extra Credits can fund additional usage after a paid plan’s monthly allowance runs out. InVideo’s Extra Credits guide describes a separate prepaid charge, with manual purchases starting at $5. Compare that charge with upgrading for required features or recurring capacity. A temporary usage shortfall alone is not a reason to commit to a higher recurring tier.

The Extra Credits spending cap and auto-reload are separate controls. In Usage → Extra Credits, the default monthly cap is 2,000 credits, not $2,000; manual purchases are not capped. Auto-reload is off by default. Switching Extra Credits off pauses consumption but does not stop purchases or auto-reload. To prevent automatic top-up charges, switch auto-reload off separately. Keep the project limit described above as an additional control, not a replacement.

Invideo is relevant when you want to assemble and edit a video from a brief and media. What should I confirm at checkout?

Confirm the billing period, annual total, selected credits, seat count, renewal price, taxes, and any temporary model promotion. Promotions should not be treated as permanent plan entitlements.

Changing a plan changes the remaining budget

InVideo’s billing guide says an upgrade immediately raises the current cycle’s credit limit, with credits already used counting against it. For example, if you have spent 700 credits and upgrade from a 1,000-credit limit to 2,000, the remaining allowance is 1,300—not a fresh 2,000. This is arithmetic illustrating the rule, not a current tier quote.

The same guide says switching from monthly to annual billing immediately charges the full annual amount and resets the billing cycle. Cancellation stops renewal while the paid plan remains active through the current period; it does not automatically issue a refund. Confirm the amount due and new cycle before switching, rather than treating an annual monthly equivalent as the next monthly charge.

Can I get a refund after canceling InVideo?

Canceling stops renewal; it does not automatically refund the subscription. The subscription refund guide says requests are reviewed case by case based on usage, eligibility and time since purchase; send support your invoice. Extra Credits are non-refundable and expire with the subscription, so review the unused balance before canceling.

Does InVideo AI include InVideo Studio?

Do not confuse the manual timeline editor described in current AI plan documentation with the separately presented InVideo Studio page. Check which product you are opening and which editing features the specific subscription includes. The existence of Studio does not by itself prove that an AI plan includes it or requires a second paid subscription.

Does InVideo offer a lifetime deal?

The current official pricing page lists recurring subscriptions and enterprise sales, not a public lifetime plan. Verify any lifetime offer directly with InVideo before paying, including which product, credits, models, exports, updates, and support it actually covers.
