VEED pricing (2026): free plan, per-seat costs & AI credits

Magic Hour publishes this pricing guide and offers separate video creation and editing workflows. VEED plan, seat, export, watermark, and AI-credit claims are based on the linked official VEED sources checked September 9–13, 2026; this is a documentation review rather than a controlled product-quality comparison.

Is VEED free?

Yes. VEED's current account guide says the Free plan can be used for as long as you like. Its export guide limits Free exports to 720p and says videos exported on Free carry a watermark. Upgrading later does not remove a watermark from an already exported file; reopen the original project and export it again under the paid plan.

Do not assume every Free account receives the same AI allowance. VEED's Gen-AI Studio guide says Free AI credits are regional. Where available, Free generated files are limited to 12 seconds. Check the balance and selected feature in your own workspace before planning a recurring workflow.

Monthly versus annual plans

VEED says the allowance refreshes when the subscription renews and credits do not carry over. Paid plans are billed per seat. The collaborator billing guide says every person in a workspace counts, including pending invitations. Multiply the plan price by the paid seat count before comparing monthly or annual totals.

Monthly checkout is not offered in every region. VEED’s subscription guide says users in India are offered annual plans only. Check the billing options in your own account before treating the monthly column as an available purchase.

How many videos do credits cover?

The page displays approximate AI-video counts, but that does not make every generation or finished ad cost the same. Features and models can consume credits differently. Use the quote for your actual task rather than treating the headline estimate as a guaranteed number of completed videos.

For example, if your own project consumes 25 credits including revisions, a 500-credit monthly allowance would cover twenty equivalent projects before other usage. This is illustrative arithmetic, not a VEED price quote or a measured average.

Which plan should you choose?

Start with the lowest tier that includes the export quality, collaboration, and AI features your work needs. Creator includes watermark removal and auto subtitles. Higher tiers add capabilities and allowances such as brand management, translation, and more voice usage.

For a 1080p delivery, VEED’s export guide lists Creator as sufficient; Pro, Studio and Enterprise permit exports up to 4K. Choose the required delivery resolution before buying a larger tier. A 4K export does not restore detail missing from low-resolution source footage.

Branding is another concrete boundary. The Brand Kit guide gives Creator one kit for fonts and colors. Pro and higher support multiple kits and additional asset types, including images, video, audio and saved groups. For several client brands or reusable logo and intro assets, compare that capability rather than selecting a plan solely for more AI credits.

Complete a representative video before committing annually. Include editing, caption corrections, generation attempts, and every paid user. An annual discount is only useful when the full commitment fits your expected use.

What happens when you add seats or upgrade mid-cycle?

Each workspace has its own subscription, and only its owner can upgrade it. VEED’s subscription-management guide says a plan upgrade starts a new billing cycle immediately: you pay for the new cycle, with unused time from the previous plan prorated and deducted. Check the selected workspace before purchasing another subscription for the same team.

Changing the seat count works differently. The collaborator billing guide says a new seat incurs an immediate charge for the remaining part of the cycle, while the renewal date stays unchanged. Removing a seat converts its unused value into credit against future invoices, rather than a cash refund. Invoice credit is different from AI generation credits. The rule that AI allowances do not roll over does not describe this billing adjustment.

How do you cancel VEED without another renewal?

For subscriptions bought on the web or Android, VEED’s cancellation instructions require completion at least two business days before renewal. Open Workspace Settings → Workspace Billing → Turn off auto-renewal, follow the prompts and complete the cancellation questionnaire. The questionnaire is required; merely starting the flow is insufficient. Look for the confirmation email and contact support if it does not arrive.

Paid features and the remaining AI allowance stay available until the current billing period ends. The included paid allowance is then removed. Cancelling prevents future renewal; it does not itself issue a refund. An Android purchase uses VEED billing, not Google Play cancellation. For a main-app iOS purchase, use the Apple subscription route described below.

VEED’s editor, API, and mobile app

VEED’s API FAQ explicitly separates API accounts and credits from editor accounts and subscriptions. Editor AI credits do not pay for API jobs. API credits are prepaid, non-refundable, expire two years after purchase, and exclude taxes. Choose the exact API model and its USD rate before estimating a programmatic workload.

A concrete API budget and recovery check

VEED’s public API rate card lists Fabric 1.0 Regular 720p at $0.15 per second and Lip Sync 2.0 at $0.07 per second. A ten-second request therefore calculates to $1.50 or $0.70 respectively, before taxes or additional jobs. These are different operations, not equivalent quality scores or guaranteed costs for an accepted deliverable.

Save API outputs before their download window closes. The API FAQ says output URLs expire 24 hours after job completion, not after your first status check. A per-request expiry header can extend that window up to thirty days. After expiry, a 410 Gone link cannot be renewed by checking the job again. Track the original job ID and copy required files into your own storage.

For mobile billing, the subscription guide distinguishes the main VEED iOS app from VEED Lite. A purchase inside the main iOS app is managed through Apple Settings → Subscriptions rather than Workspace Billing; VEED Lite is a separate app with its own subscription. Identify the app and purchase channel before buying a second plan.

How does it compare with Magic Hour?

Compare the operation you need. VEED combines editing and AI tools in a browser workflow; Magic Hour offers image and video generation and editing workflows. For a specific task such as adding subtitles, compare the finished export and correction effort rather than paying for unrelated features.

What should you check before payment?

Confirm the plan, billing period, annual total, seat count, credit-renewal schedule, export limits, taxes, and renewal price. The final checkout is the authority for account-specific offers.
