Privacy, consent and commercial use

The July 3, 2026 privacy policy says uploads and generated content are deleted within 24 hours, except content flagged by safety systems or reported by users. The service is restricted to adults and requires explicit consent for real-person material.

A commercial-use label does not clear publicity, copyright, trademark or contractual rights. Keep written consent, source licenses and disclosure records. Never use face swap to impersonate, deceive, harass or create intimate imagery without consent.

Its pricing FAQ limits refunds to one per account; check the detailed refund policy and your checkout before relying on eligibility.

The same page says only video face swap and its adult-content tool are unlimited on Unlimited Pro; other tools still consume credits. It also describes some premium benefits as valid only during an active plan period. “Credits never expire” therefore should not be read as “every feature remains unlimited forever.”

For budgeting, record the displayed charge for photo, GIF and video separately. Count every retry and rejected result. A one-time payment can be preferable to a subscription for irregular work, but only if the unused balance applies to the workflows you actually need.

Refunds, missing credits and failed jobs are different

The detailed refund policy requires a request within 30 days and usage below 20% of purchased credits. It also lists completed outputs without a technical fault as non-refundable. The pricing FAQ instead says 20% or less, so obtain confirmation before relying on the exact boundary. Disliking a technically delivered result is different from a platform error.

For a platform-error failure, the policy describes restoring the charged credits rather than refunding money. The pricing FAQ directs users to Credit Records and asks for screenshots of the charge and processing error if a deduction was incorrect. For a cash-refund request, retain the account email, order or transaction ID, and reason. These are the vendor’s documented procedures, not a guarantee that every request qualifies.

SwapFaces.ai API status

SwapFaces.ai advertises an image and video face-swap API for single and multiple-face workflows. Its current API page says self-service access is not yet supported and asks prospective users to contact the company. Treat the API as sales-assisted until public authentication, endpoint, pricing and retention documentation are available.

Before integration, require written confirmation of input limits, face mapping, asynchronous job behavior, retries, billing, output retention, deletion, support and commercial terms. A marketing page is not a production API contract.

Privacy and policy checks before upload

The privacy policy and Terms of Use were both updated July 3, 2026. They identify TecDeon Limited as operator, restrict the service to adults and require explicit, documented consent for real-person material. The Terms say uploads and generated content are automatically deleted within 24 hours.

The pricing page makes a broader statement that uploaded media is not used for training or moderation, while the existing article notes exceptions in the privacy policy for safety-flagged or reported content. Use the detailed policy as the controlling description and avoid sensitive media when the exception does not fit the job.

Common SwapFaces.ai problems

Identity drifts during motion. Test a shorter segment with a larger, clearer source face. Review profile turns, cuts and moments when the target passes behind a hand or object.

The wrong person changes in a group. Recheck face mapping and label every source identity before processing. Inspect all people, including background faces, after export.

An unlimited plan still asks for credits. Confirm which tool is covered. The official pricing page says other tools can remain credit-based even when video face swap is unlimited.

Commercial use is unclear. Preserve the plan and Terms shown at purchase, source licenses and documented consent. A commercial-license label does not clear third-party rights.
