Cardboard Tornado

A massive tornado tears across a flat open landscape — grey sky, debris flying. But something is wrong with this tornado. It is made entirely of cardboard. Flattened cardboard boxes, torn packaging, shipping tubes, and corrugated sheets spiral upward in the vortex. The tornado churns and tightens — the cardboard pieces begin moving with intention, not chaos. They are assembling. Piece by piece — a colossal monster takes shape within the rotating column. Cardboard legs stomp down first, creasing and folding into limbs with origami precision. A torso assembles from large shipping boxes — flaps folding outward like armor plates. Arms extend — constructed from rolled tubes and flat sheets, joints creasing naturally. A massive head rises last — made from a single enormous box, torn eye holes revealing darkness within, a jagged cardboard mouth tearing open. The tornado dissipates.
